You will be developing or maintaining as well as verifying Certification deliverables against specified partner configurations. Certification support will also be a secondary responsibility involving partner requests to troubleshoot and/or to explain how a certification suite should work. Certification implementation will involve integration of tests from Core Engineering and/or QA with the VMware Workbench which is a framework for the delivery of certification suites.Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain certification suites for existing Ecosystem Engineering Partner Programs- Achieve a smooth integration of functional tests from Core Engineering teams with the VMware Workbench- Ensure a robust Certification suite delivery to partners by exercising comprehensive verification plans across multiple hardware configurations- Provide Level 1 or Level 2 support to Partners for Certification suite issues- Ensure test environment reflects the operating environment of our customers- Build relationships between development and other key internal teamsTechnical Domain:- 3+ years development in Perl•Working knowledge of Java and/or XML a big plus- 3+ years in test framework development and/or automating tests- Advanced level of Windows and Linux Operating system- Working knowledge of VMware products a huge plus- Experience working partner certification programs desirableRequirements:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computing or related discipline- 7+ years of software development and/or QA experience- Must possess work knowledge and experience with OS/kernel drivers and/or storage architecture- U.S.-based experience highly desirableLocation: Bangalore, IndiaRequisition Number: 28503BR
